Police comes in action after ruckus

Lucknow:The students, the teachers and the employees of Dayanand Anglo Vedic Post Graduate College Lucknow staged dharana outside Naka police station on Wednesday noon.

The crowd marched from DAV College to Naka police station in the protest of police not taking action against the men who were trying to grab the land in the nameofDAVPGcollege.                                                                                   
According to the principal Ram Vishal Tripathi, the college management had started the construction of roof work of a room which was semi-finished. The room was being prepared for indoor games purpose, which rear end part adjoining with back of a shop that had also a door opened into the college premises.
The shop was in possession of Rajendra Chaurasia who had been dispossessed by the court after a civil suit. Mr.Chaurasia died later.
Mr Tripathi told the correspondent, “While our labourers were working; they were manhandled by some persons who barged inside the premises from the door. The incident took place was informed to the police on January 11, but there was no avail.”
Mr Tripathi added, “The work was stopped since then, but the police provided no help to restore the site work.”
The miscreant broke the window of the game’s room; and began to close it inside by the bricks and material with trespassing inside this room on Jan 14.
The incident was informed to the police on 100 control room; the police intervened and the work was stopped.
