12 Armed Men raided  Christian missionary school

The outrage over the alleged gang rape of 71 year-old-nun and an armed robbery at a convent school protesters raised slogan ‘Chief minister’ go back and’ we want justice’ as banner waited patiently in car asking a hand full of policeman in her security to show restraint.
A 71 year nun was allegedly raped and two other nuns were assaulted when 12 armed men raided a Christian missionary school in Ranagaht; a Nadia district of West Bengal; in early hours of Saturday. The elderly nun is reported she has sustained a knife injury also. The preliminary reports said the crime was committed by a gang of dacoits but the other sources contemplated it a religious consideration and the attack was done by fanatical elements. The gang first ransacked the school office before breaking it into convent. They reportedly tied up the three nuns and took the security guards into the custody. The episode of attack lasted for over three hours. As the one elderly of the nuns put up a fight one of the men allegedly rape her. The locals were unsatisfied saying after 72 hours of the crime, the case was yet to be cracked.
Nadia SP said the police have detained 10 peoples in connection with the incident. After meeting the rape survivor, the Chief Minister Mamta Banergee said, ‘She is stable now. I have spoken to her. The police have been asked to take strongest of actions against the culprits’ The ministry of home affairs, Government of India, Monday asked West Bengal government to send a report of alleged rape of elderly nun.
