CBI registered two cases against Yadav Singh
No Eligible Degree of Engineering; Chief Engineer in his tenure accumulated enormous wealth in scam.
The CBI has registered two cases against Yadav Singh former
chief engineer Involved in the accumulation of illegal wealth case of
Noida Development Authority. 14 property bases including NOIDA, Greater
NOIDA Firozabad and Agra were raided on
Tuesday.
A Social Worker, Nutan Thakur wife of a suspended police officer, demanding the CBI
inquiry into Rupee of 1000 crore scam done by Yadav Singh had filed a public
interest litigation in High Court Allahabad bench Lucknow.
She appealed with
court in her statement, " As the role of state government on the matter is
inactive, the case may please be
entrusted to the CBI." The court
handed over the inquiry to the CBI subsequently.
The officials of Income Tax
department for Rupee 954 crore tender scam had raided in the premises of Yadav
Singh and his spouse. The heavy
cash, 2 k.g. of gold and the ornaments
of diamond were seized in the possession. The IT took under investigation more
than 12 bank accounts and the private firms run by them.
According to the information, Mr.
Yadav Singh during his service career had had no eligible degree of
engineering, but he was kept on higher post after feeding the money to the
promotion.
