Punjab Sangrur: The indiscriminate
firing by an army man, identified as Jagdeep, killed 4; and injured 4 in Sangrur Punjab on Tuesday.
According to
information, the standing man on the first floor began the firing from an apartment that was cordoned off by the Punjab police .
The police besieged the house later. The motive behind this act could not be
ascertained yet.

Several Sikh bodies in the state have unitedly launched an agitation
against the state government led by Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP. The
agitators have accused the NDA partners of shielding the saffron
extremists allegedly behind the attack.
