Well known Cartoonist Sudhir Tailang dead

A well known political cartoonist in India, Sudhir Tailang, died
on Saturday. He was at his 55 and ailing for the past a few days; and was admitted in
the hospital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his grief and said that
Sudhir Tailang by the skill of his cartoons brought a smile on the faces of
many peoples.

Many Political leaders on the death of Sudhir Tailang tweet and
pay Tribute - "We pray to God to bless the mercy to soul rest in the peace
of Shri Sudhir Tailang; and the strength to bear the grief to his family --
Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan."
Mr. Tailang was felicitated with Padma Shree for his contribution
in the field of cartoons in the year 2004. He had launched a new book of
cartoons with the name' No, Prime Minister'. The book was based the former
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Tailang was born in Bikaner in Rajasthan in 1960. When he was at
his age of 10, he had drawn his first cartoon sketch. Mr Tailang had begun his
career with illustrated weekly of India in 1982.
He joined Nav Bharat Times in 1983; later many years he was
working in Hindustan times. He had also worked with Indian Express, Times of
India and Asian Age.
