Resentment Among Candidates Deprived of Appointment Letters
The candidates for the posts of
Agricultural Technical Assistant selected by UPPSC continued their hunger
strike at Laxman Mela Maidan Lucknow. They are demanding their appointment
letters.
Rajvir asked, "if every
process has simultaneously done from the form submission upto the selection;
the appointment letters must be issued together."
Rajvir said, “The Public Service Commission
had notified 6628 vacancies; namely, 3616 general, 2211 SC, 235ST 566 OBC, but
the commission again revised the vacancies before conducting competitive exam.
Its new notification on date 20 August 2014 the vacancies were substituted with
the various reservation categories as 2515 general, 1882SC, 201 ST 2030 OBC.”
The 29 candidates of these filed
a writ petition against the modification by the commission, but many candidates
filed another writ petition for conditional joining of service.
The commission issued the
appointment letters of 5629; and the result declared of 6599 qualifying that
created the grudge among the candidates deprived of appointment letters.
