America Invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Address Joint Session of Congress
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been
invited to address a joint session of congress during a visit to America on coming
June 8. Mr Paul Ryan, speaker in house of representative, informed on Thursday
in a press conference. Mr Ryan said, “The Indo-American friendship is a symbol
of stability in an important continent of the world. The addressing how can
work together to increase the prosperity and to promote the mutual values of
our both countries is a special event to hear the elected leader of largest census
democracy. Mr Ryan said, “We're highly optimistic to welcome PM Narendra Modi
in US capital on June 8. “
Earlier this event our former Prime Ministers;
namely, Manmohan Singh; July19, 2005, Atal Bihari Bajpai; 14 September 2000, P V
Narsimha Rao;18 May 1994, Rajiv Gandhi;13july 1985 — all have addressed the
joint session. The tradition began in the year 1824 on December 10 when Marquis
de Lafayette from French addressed the house of chamber. US
President Barack Obama during his
visit to India for nuclear summit had invited PM Modi for the bilateral journey.
PM Modi is 5th Indian who is to address joint session of American Congress.
Donald Trump, the
candidate for presidential election by Republican Party, gave a controversial
statement on 23 rd April this month. He targeted the Indian call centre
companies. Mr Trump posed the issue of
shifting employment from America to India. Moreover, Trump even copied
the mimicry style to speak in English of the Indian call center workers.
The United States presidential election
of 2016, scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2016, will be the 58th quadrennial
U.S. Presidential Election. The new president is to be elected in America.
However Donald Trump
praised India. He said, “it (India) is a great country. I am not angry with
China. I am not angry with Japan. Vietnam, India. . I am not offended by all
these countries. I am outraged by the stupidity of politicians. "
Mr Trump
in election campaign has been added Paul Manafort who was a lobbyist of Kashmir
American Council. This council is assumed the front of Pakistani secret agency
ISI.
