'Development Training Programme of Curriculum on Entrepreneurship' held at DSMRU ended

LUCKNOW:Centre of Technology and
Entrepreneurship Development (CTED) organized one month (since April1, 2016
to 30 April 2016) training camp programme for the students in Doctor Shakuntala
Mishra Universaity Lucknow. The programme was sponsored by department of
Science & Technology Government of
India and The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI).
The experts from the CTED
with extensive grass roots experience of the development issues affecting
Indian communities in the Uttar Pradesh region of India. Central to the
organization’s aims is securing livelihood security of the poorest people in
their region of operation; one of the most deprived areas in India.
EDI has helped set up
twelve state-level exclusive entrepreneurship development centres and
institutes.
Entrepreneurship has
been taken to schools, colleges, science and technology institutions and
management schools in the water performance sector by including
entrepreneurship in their curricula. The University Grants Commission appointed
the EDI as an expert agency to develop a curriculum on Entrepreneurship.
The development of
entrepreneurship by sharing resources and organising training programmes has
helped the EDI earn support from many agencies at international level.
The students are taught
to identify opportunities and check on their feasibility. Through mentoring and
guidance the students prepare a business plan. They are given a platform to
pitch their ideas to banks and investors, so that they can launch their own
venture.
The programme was held
at the DSMRU where many experts of skill development in the various fields
participated to counseling the students..
The counseling faculty
members were — namely, Mr. UN Mishra, Mr.Anil Kumar Singh, Mr.B.B. Singh,
Mr.Pankaj Khare, Mr Arvind Kumar Singh.
The certificates of
training camp programme on Saturday last week were felicitated to the participant students, who had
spared their time to make its success.
