Confident And Competent Of Finding Solutions In Kashmir: NSA Ajit Doval

With Kashmir in turmoil, Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reached out to opposition leaders including Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and former chief minister Omar Abdullah, and discussed the prevailing situation there.
Jammu and Kashmir is tense. after Burhan's killing in the valley on Friday evening, 30 people have died so far in the violence erupted. Seeing the worsened situation, two high level meetings for the discussion on scenario have been called. Both chaired by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Mr Ajit Doval, the NSA, returned back amid his visit to Africa; participated in second meeting after lunch where the cabinet officials, the IB &RAW officials were present; While Ajit Doval, NSA, Army chief& DG of CRPF, moreover Finance Minister Arun Jaitly & Union Minister, Jitendra Singh have also participated in the meeting after noon.
National Security Adviser Ajit Doval returned home today, expressed confidence that solutions would be found to the situation in the Valley.

Deadly clashes in Kashmir continued for the third day between security forces and thousands of demonstrators enraged by the killing of Burhan Wani.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reviewed the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of protests over the killing of terrorist Burahn Wani and spoke to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, assuring her all possible help from the Centre.

Amarnath Yatra has resumed in Kashmir -- where 30 people died and 200 were injured in the clashes -- after home minister Rajnath SIngh reviewed the situation in the state. Curfew is in place in all 10 districts.
