The
office of the Convenor, CAT 2016 has announced an extension of the
deadline for candidates to submit the application forms. The new deadline is
now September 27 by 5 pm.
The
original deadline was Thursday September 22. "The main reason for the
extension is to facilitate applicants in this stage, and we have been getting a
lot of requests from them," said Prof Rajendra
K Bandi, CAT 2016.
The
total number of submitted applications (as at 3:30 p.m.) is 2.08 lakhs, which
is far in excess of the applications for the comparable period last year.
The
corresponding number last year was 1.83 lakhs," Prof. Bandi added.
