Receiving Cause and using purpose of Pak

Tariq Hameed Karra

“The US Senate has passed its draft of the National Defense Authorization Bill, which includes provision to set up a new fund to reimburse Pakistan for its efforts in war against terrorism.
The $800 million has been authorized under a provision called the ‘Pakistan Security Enhancement Authorisation’, reports Dawn.
It also noted that after 9/11, Islamabad has been a vital partner of Washington in efforts to combat terrorism in South Asia.”
Pakistan is in confidence after being funded, and is piping song of Kashmir.  The diplomatic propaganda of Pakistan at world forum has been proved fail so far because the democratic government in militant-hit state is in existence.
Mehbooba Mufti, in Srinagar before starting her tenure, had held close door meetings with senior party leaders and parliament members, Tariq Hameed Karra and Muzaffar Hussain Baig before she finalized the list of ministers who took oath along with Mehbooba Mufti.
Q- Why did you boycott Mehbooba’s swearing-in ceremony?  An interview of Tariq Hameed Karra to Kasmir Reader on Aril 5, 2016
ANS-“In today’s scenario, all of them (Naeem Akhtar, Haseeb Drabu and Altaf Bukhari) are hate icons. So I want some course correction and Mehbooba sought options. I told her to drop the trio, and if she still felt other people in the party are dumb, she can make Naeem as chairman of the Legislative Council.
The post has been denigrated by appointing class 8 pass man as the chairman.
I told her to either drop Drabu or change his portfolio because he was creating chaos and confusion between the PDP and BJP. He is trying to become indispensable.
On April 1, she promised me that she would discuss the matter further on April 3 in Jammu. Mehbooba told me if I am not convinced then don’t attend my swearing-in ceremony. I was forcibly brought from Chandigarh yesterday but was astonished to hear say that she will not drop any of them. And she will only change Bukhari’s portfolio.”
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister (Since April 2016) Mehbooba Mufti won in the Anantnag Assembly by-election by 12,085 votes in June this year, proving that her popularity remains unaffected by her PDP’s decision to ally with the BJP.
The PDP MP from Srinagar parliamentary constituency Tariq Hameed Karra said last week he was forced to take the extreme step to register his "strong protest" against the unabated killings, grievous injuries and "repression and suppression" let loose on the people of Kashmir and the "failure of Parliament", Centre and Jammu and Kashmir government "to find a way out of this painful situation".
"The prevailing situation in Kashmir is not only alarming but tragic as well. Every single day... the number of injured is out numbering hospital capacities and the number of arrested is out numbering the lock ups," he said.
"I am resigning from the basic membership of the PDP as I cannot side with the bloodbath of Kashmiris," Mr Mandoo, who was senior vice president of the party's Srinagar unit, told reporters in Srinagar.
In a set back to the ruling PDP, party leader Nisar Ahmad Mandoo resigned from the party saying he cannot side with "bloodbath" of Kashmiris.
What is bickering over inside story among political turmoil is hour of analysis; but it is clear with the steps that have been taken unilaterally by the PDP leaders must be scanned by the centre.
The Central Government said Pakistan has been fuelling the unrest in Kashmir - triggered by the killing of Burhan Wani on July 8 -- by pumping in terrorists into the Valley. Sources in investigative agencies have also said a great amount of money was being sent from Pakistan. Pakistan receives fund to combat a war against terrorism, but the fairness of Pakistani expenditure for the purpose should be scrutinized.
The army has said the four terrorists - who were killed after a three-hour operation -- were foreign and initial reports indicated that they belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan-based terror group. The same group was involved in the attack at the Pathankot air base in January, in which 7 army men were killed.
Ms Mufti conveyed her condolences to bereaved families and said she would pray for the early recovery of those injured in the attack is also caused resentment among the separatists.
Since she took over charge of government, the separatists in Kashmir started to unite against the PDP, and the over-ground followers of hard liners now have begun rising the voice.
The Hurriyat also condemned the killing of another youth in Baramulla district of north Kashmir yesterday it asked the ruling politicians to use their influence with the Centre and Indian civil society to persuade them to immediately put an end to the violence and “seriously work towards a political solution”. Referring to the resignation of PDP MP Tariq Karra, the Hurriyat said he has shown the way.
