UP Govt sacked its two ministers
Rajkishor Singh Gayatri Prasad Prajapati |
The chief minister of UP Mr Akhilesh Yadav
sacked his two cabinet ministers on Monday. The action was taken after
contemplating the indulgence of ministers in corruption.
After these dismissals, many of the
political parties' leaders have reacted condemning the conduct and late action
on the serious matter.
Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav, party chief of
Samajwadi party, has said on this decision that he is not aware of the
action. He also said, “All the removed ministers of government are
my close men.”
UP Cong
spokesperson, Satyadev Tripathi says, “Mulayam Singh has said that Akhilesh’s
ministers are indulged with the corruption. Both of the ministers have been
removed now, while the upcoming assembly election is a few months away. The
court has said against a minister, although the removal of a few ministers at the
end of tenure cannot clean the stain of Samajwadi party.”
Mr Srikant Sharma,
the BJP spokesperson, said, “The chief minister of UP Mr Akhilesh Yadav
has removed his two cabinet ministers; namely, Gayatri Prajapati and Raj Kishor
Singh, both of whom collected the money for him. Mr Gayatri Prajapati (involved
in many land-grabbing cases), trusted lieutenant of Akhilesh government is the
owner of Rs 5000 crore black proceeds.”
He said, "The terror of land grabbers
in UP is since the day of beginning of UP Government. The leaders, workers and
the ministers – all got wherever the chance grabbed the government lands."
Akhilesh Government looted the whole state
through Gayatri Prajapati.
The High Court of Allahabad took sternly
against the illegal mining and ordered to probe the mining scam by the CBI,
then Akhilesh government reached to consider taking action against these
ministers; although akhilesh government had filed an application on last Friday
that the mining scam should not be assigned to the CBI.
He alleged, “Gayatri Prajapati is a pawn,
Akhilesh Yadav and his family are behind the tapestry.”
He added, “It has foiled attempt to clean
its stains over government before assembly election. Akhilesh government looted
the state so far and now it is taking such decisions for speaking in rallies
and on TV channels only. ”
Mr Sharma said, “SP, BSP and Cong—trio ruined the state.”
Mr Rajendra Chaudhary
spokesperson to Samajwadi Party, said, “Cong with the BJP and the BSP is now
going against Samajwadi Party.
He added it was the prerogative of the CM to make changes in his cabinet
and “only he will be aware of the reasons” behind the removal of the two
ministers.
“CM must have his reasons for making the changes. I am not aware of
those.” “But it was the decision for the government and unrelated to the
party,” he said.
Mrs Nutan Thakur, a social activist, had lodged complaint to Lokayukt. According to the complaint, Mr Gayatri Prajapati, after taking the charge as the state minister, accumulated a huge wealth worth Rs 942.5 crore. However the minister made wealth to the name of his close aides and relatives. Gayatri Prajapati is the owner of BMW and other luxurious four wheelers presently.
