Delhi Police detained Rahul Gandhi trying to enter RML Hospital to meet family of soldier.
The political wrestling is continued over the death of
ex-servicemen in Delhi on Tuesday. The police is trying continuously to remove AAP
activists from Jantar-Mantar. Rahul Gandhi has reached police station again
after the release from his detain.
Rahul Gandhi urged with the PM to implement One Rank One Pension in
meaningful way. He was speaking outside the RML in the wake of suicidal death
of ex-servicemen. What are their dues to the ex-servicemen should be paid
before struggle, he said.
He appealed that the soldiers should not
have to struggle for their dues; thus implement the OROP in meaningful way.
The statement came after an ex-servicemen,70 years, Ram Kishan Grewal,
resident of Bhiwani in Haryana, ended his life at Jawahar Bhawan lawn new
delhi.
According to police, he was in the process of submitting the
memorandum to the defence ministry along with other
ex-servicemen.
Rahul said pinning the letter 4 days ago he
wrote to the Prime Minister, "let us show our gratitude to ours brave
soldiers with not only through ours words, but also by our actions."
"My heartfelt condolences to the family of Subedar Ram Kishan
Grewal. Extremely sad to learn of his death," the Congress Vice President
said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Rahul
Gandhi was at RML to meet with the family of victim committed suicide for the OROP.
He was forbidden to allow entering into hospital. Rahul Gandhi asked on this
prohibition, “This is what being made India? He alleged Modi government about
to quell the democratic structure.”
