started a battle against pre-Medical Entrance Examinations conducted by NEET
has committed suicide. Anita was disappointed of not getting admission in
Medical that’s why she took such drastic step. Shock wave of Anita’s death has
spreaded around TamilNadu.
Anita,17, was
the resident of village Kujhumur under district Aryalur. She committed suicide
at home.
A schedule caste girl student’s father was
daily labourer. Anita had secured marks 1176 out of 1200 in 12th examination
held by Tamil Nadu Board, but she couldn’t qualify National Eligibility
Entrance Test for the admission.
Anita has got
86 marks out of 700 in NEET exam. After which she knocked the door of Supreme
Court last month against the filed Writ Petition which was seeking admission on
the basis of NEET score card in Medical Treatment Subjects.

syllabus.” She said that NEET examination pattern is not compatible or doing

state board students for 1 year.

PMK leader Ambumani Ram Das has blamed Central and State Government. He said,”
Central government and State CM Palanisamy should take the responsibility of
this incident. He had assured students that students of Tamil Nadu Board will
get one year chance relaxation from NEET.
