Sharad Dubey;Mumbai
Bombay High Court,
talking about the murder of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh of Banglore, has said that it is an endangering
instinct to eliminate all the opposition and liberal values – and it is going
to tarnish the image of country. The bench of SC Dharmadhikari J. and Bharti
Dangre J., hearing a writ petition, has commented so.
The writ petition has
appealed with the court to investigate the monitoring of murder of elites
Govind Pansare and Narendra Dabholkar. The Court said, “ The liberal values and
the thoughts have no respect. The people are being targeted constantly for
their liberal principles. Not only just thinkers, but also any person or the
organization which believes in liberal principles can be target. It is like
that, 'as if I’m opposed, I eliminate that opposing person'.”
The bench said, “The
murder of all the oppositions is dangerous trend. It is tarnishing the image of
country. The CBI and Maharashtra Crime Investigation Branch filed to the probe
report to the court in connection with the murder of Dabholkar and Pansare
respectively. The bench said that the officers’ progress to reach to solid
conclusion has been failure so far. The bench has said that the investigating
agency’s effort is real, but the fact is that the main accused is absconded and
one more precious life is being targeted in a time interval.
The court said that one
more precious life was killed, as a liberal thought woman journalist was
murdered in an ill-fate incident in Bangalore
The
bench said that the investigating agencies should change and rethink their
investigating path and must use the technical equipment to catch the accused.
